Our story began with a shared enthusiasm for discovering the world, blossoming into a lifetime of independent travel adventures. From the moment we stepped into the travel industry, we knew we were destined to turn our passion into a lifelong journey. Whether it's savoring the vibrant cultures of Asia, embarking on epic road trips across the U.S. in an RV, or relishing the historic charm of Europe, our travels have been a tapestry of unforgettable experiences.

We’ve embraced the thrill of soft adventure travel, exploring new places with curiosity and an open heart.

In our mid-60s, we made the bold decision to leave organized travel behind and explore the world as independent travelers, not knowing quite what to expect. It was a leap of faith, and it led to some of the most amazing experiences of our lives.

Our travel philosophy is simple yet profound, we see travel as an extension of the journey of life. To us, “The journey is more important than the destination.” We believe that the true essence of travel lies in the experiences, connections, and moments we gather along the way. As we often say, “Collect Moments, Not Things.” It’s these moments that enrich our lives and create lasting memories.

One of our most exhilarating adventures was riding the rail from Bournemouth, England to Hockenheim, Germany, where we cheered on the world’s best drivers at a Formula 1 race. Yes, Bill is a car enthusiast! The thrill of the race was matched only by the excitement of exploring the picturesque landscapes and vibrant cities along the way, including the beautiful city of Heidelberg.

In Southeast Asia, we’ll never forget the unique experience of attending a wedding in Cambodia with 1,000 guests! It was a remarkable celebration of culture and community that left a lasting impression on us and we are sure left a lot of people with hangovers the next day!

Our travels in the United States have been equally memorable. Exploring the National Parks in our RV, we’ve marveled at the majestic beauty of places like Glacier and the Grand Canyon. Each park offered its own set of soft adventure travel opportunities, from hiking through ancient forests to gazing at stunning vistas that seemed to stretch forever.
